It is my privilege to tell something about Labib Group.

In my childhood I always dreamt to be an Army Officer and Almighty Allah also granted my prayers and accordingly I got admitted into 31st BMA Long Course in 1993. But during my Training Session, I got a severe accident and based on my medical ground, I failed to receive my dreamt Rank from Bangladesh Army. But I did not get disheartened for that failure. Rather after a little break, I joined a Private Organization with another dream of gathering Business Experience with a view to being an Entrepreneur. By the grace Almighty Allah, I was doing there very well and based on my level of understanding and practical performance, I was promoted to a senior management position within a very short period of time. Then I started gaining more knowledge and preparing myself for business. When I felt confident, I left my Private Job and started my Business with ‘STARLIGHT SWEATERS LTD’ in 1999 and now we are having a Group of Companies i.e. ‘LABIB GROUP’.

To be honest, I started my Business with a view to serving the global community as well as the people of Bangladesh. Alhamdulillah! Labib Group is now having a total of 14 Factories & Establishments and currently its annual turnover is about 500 Million US Dollar and we wish to exceed this revenue very soon inshallah.

So far, we are in a Leading Position of Sweater Manufacturing and we are exporting our excellent quality products to the most reputed Buyers of Europe, America, UK, Australia and other developed countries of Asia.

Labib Group is a Manufacturing, Export, Import, Trading & General Business Conglomerate and it is mainly involved in the Businesses of Sweater Manufacturing, Yarn Dyeing, Export, Import, Trading, Banking, Lease Finance, IT, Agro, Poultry, Fisheries, Packaging etc. Currently we are having about 25,000 Employees and the overall status of Employment of the Group is increasing day by day. At a time we are Manufacturer, Exporter, Importer & Trader and during our production process, we use the latest technology & methodology. We use expert & efficient manpower as well as the most modern technic, machineries & equipment. We believe in quality, commitment, development and creating employment opportunities for the people of Bangladesh. We are highly concentrated to Training & Development of our Human Resources. Besides, we are eco-friendly, environment conscious, obliged to our corporate social responsibilities and committed to contributing to the national economy of Bangladesh.
